Nebraskans for the Arts (NFTA) is your local arts advocacy organization. Lincoln Theatre Alliance is proud to partner with NFTA to advise policy makers, elected officials, and community leaders on the importance of strong arts education in our schools, the economic impact of the arts in our communities, and the benefits of pro-arts policies for Nebraska.
Join us on March 13th, 2018 for as we join arts advocates from across the country in Americans For The Arts Arts Advocacy Day. Arts Advocacy Day brings together a broad cross section of America's cultural and civic organizations, along with more than 700 grassroots advocates from across the country, to underscore the importance of developing strong public policies and appropriating increased public funding for the arts.
By reaching out to local, state, and national legislators you can show them the importance of supporting arts funding and positive arts legislation. NFTA is working with arts organizations across the state in providing opportunities for you to gather and share your support for the arts. LTA locations include: Lincoln Community Playhouse, 2500 S. 56th Street, Lincoln AND Community Players, 412 Ella Street, Beatrice Both theatres will be open and hosting their advocacy event during box office hours for citizens to come and show their support for local arts programs, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Nebraska Arts Council. They will have letter and postcard writing stations, email stations, and selfie stations.
We Would Love to Have You Visit Our Theatres Soon!
